As part of the United States Air
Force and Federal Government, the Civil Air Patrol operates under the
traditional chain of command structure. All information is passed
through this chain for information and change. Part of cadet
training is studying these chains and memorizing the people filling
positions in their chainof command.
Below is the chain of command divided into two sections, Above Squadron
and Squadron Staff. The support staff is also listed but they are
not part of the command structure. Support staff is important to
list because they are an essential part of operation of a squadron.
